It is hard to shuck the mantle of institutional education and recognize that human beings are hardwired to learn, to allow oneself to dance free of the constraints of institutional thinking, and to truly grasp that most things worth attaining cannot be measured by any test. Making the Scale your Friend. I have been working out 2-3 times a week consistently for about 2 months. It feels like I have lost some inches but I have no clue how that translates into pounds. Question is should I care? So, I am giving myself one more week pre scale before I start tracking the weight loss in pounds.
